Online Christian Social Network Launches in Ohio with the Nation's Top Pastors

The fastest growing Christian-based social network in the Midwest region, ChurchOhio.com, was in beta for over 10 months and was officially launched on July 7 of 2007. Since then, the community has been rapidly growing with an average page view count of over 20,000 a day. According to NBC News, because of the recent rise of sexual predators and negative peer pressure within social networks, parents have become more skeptical of their child's or children's interaction with people over the Web. ChurchOhio.com was created to rival those social networks, particularly the ones that contain religious content in a community that may not be conducive for spiritual growth. "People should not have be subjected to negative advertisement and provocative media content while trying to become empowered by God's Word," stated Sean E. Fields owner of COMTACTICS.
